Join us in celebrating Black History Month as we recognize the incredible contributions made by Black leaders, scholars, and innovators throughout history.
Today, we honor Dr. Samuel Mathew Turner, the first Black individual to earn a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Georgia. Dr. Turner is widely recognized for his groundbreaking work in anxiety and behavioral treatment, helping shape the field of psychology and improving the lives of countless individuals.
Black history is American history, and we celebrate the resilience, excellence, and impact that continues to inspire future generations.
