It's July. The year is more than half over.

Well, hay season is well started and we'd like to offer the opportunity to come work out on the farm at a moments notice, NO Gym Membership Required! We will even supply the water! Just unloading hay wagons into the barn when the hay is ready. We will even have a fan on!

Must be able to lift over 60 lbs repetitively. Have a good attitude and ready to roll with little notice. It would be in your best interest if you like country music and are able to dodge bales that are accidentally misplaced from time to time.

I love this view. A horse out there might make it prettier!

Last babies of the year. They arrived a bit off schedule but lively. Two Nigerian Dwarf bucks. Can be wethered and relocated when weaned.

Moved the Dexters and Lowlines from Pasture 1 to Pasture 2. I love spring and they are loving the green grass! Enjoying the peace and quiet before weaning the next group of calves.

We got our cattle work day done on Saturday.

Vaccines, dewormer, tagging, banding, and magnets.

Great crew and once we found our groove, it went pretty efficient. So grateful for the help and attitudes. Nobody was verbally abused except a cow or two!! A few bumps and bruises to show for it!

Next up, getting all the cows and heifers bred.
