Rising Aviation High School

Once again our Maintenance students are busy. Today they started their "final exam" before being allowed to work on the RV-12 build. They are building phone stands using aluminum and the riveting skills they have learned.

Our aviation teacher and flight instructor, Mrs. Hernandez, received a scholarship from Women in Aviation toward multi engine flight time at our partner training school Thrust Flight. She will use this knowledge to teach our seniors the basics of multi engine flight.

The Henry B. Tippie National Aviation Education Center at Dallas Executive Airport hosted a free, highly interactive showcase of drones, advanced air mobility, public safety technology, STEM, and the rapidly growing uncrewed aviation industry. We had a great time!

If your teenager is interested in aviation, engineering, drones, mechanics, or a more hands-on high school experience, Rising Aviation High School is worth exploring.

Located at Addison Airport, RAHS offers a focused STEAM environment where students are surrounded by aviation every day. Students can explore pathways in pilot training, aircraft maintenance, and drone operations.

We are enrolling students in grades 9–12, including those interested in transferring during the school year.

Our Maintenance students are doing weight and balance problems. This is an important aspect of providing safe aircraft for our customers. Great job, guys!
