We had the distinct honor of recreating a chocolate mold for the Frontiers Of Flight Museum that is hosting a year long exhibit on the Hindenburg zeppelin.
-
We were able to model based on an original mold from the 1930s from Eppelsheimer that is on display with the museum. It was a very heavy mold that felt like it was made of steel or pewter.

The chocolates turned out amazing. The client requested the gold cocoa butter shimmer. It was a pretty big shape at about 7 inches long and 2 inches wide and weigh about 4 ounces each.

A similar mold may have been used for the Hindenburg with VIP guests as part of dessert.
