Happy International Day of Sign Language! 🤟💛

Did you know sign language is taught in our infant classrooms? Before little ones can express everything they need with words, simple signs like “more” (pictured here), “all done,” and “milk” can give them another way to communicate with their teachers.

It’s an early reminder that communication can take many forms, and every new way to connect matters.

Bring your little ones to Tierra Encantada on Saturday 9/26 for a morning full of fun, learning, and culture. Enjoy activities inspired by countries across the Spanish-speaking world!

Whether you're already enrolled at Tierra Encantada, interested in learning more, or just looking for a morning of fun for you and your little one - we'd love for you to join us!

Space is limited and registration is required. The event activities are best suited for children ages 1 - 5, but all families are welcome to join in on the fun.

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! 💛🌎

From today through October 15th, we will celebrate the cultures and traditions of Hispanic communities through music, stories, art, and more.

We’re especially excited to recognize the many cultures and countries represented by our own teachers and families. Their experiences are an important part of what makes our Tierra Encantada community so special, and we look forward to learning from and celebrating them all month long!

Yeah, our kiddos are pretty chic 💅 Whether your child is an infant or in pre-k, they can learn Spanish through play and an immersion environment at Tierra Encantada. 🌐

At Tierra Encantada, learning doesn’t always look like sitting at a table with a worksheet. Sometimes it looks like… 🍽️ having dinner with imaginary friends, 👗 dressing up and becoming a new character, or 🧪 searching for hidden toys in Jello!

Through play, our little ones are building confidence, creativity, communication, problem-solving skills, independence, and so much more. 🌟

They play. They explore. They imagine. They discover. And most importantly… they have FUN while learning! 🥰

A balanced lunch is a great way to continue a wonderful the day! 🍓🥣

A nutritious, wholesome meal gives children the energy they need to learn, play, and explore. We're proud to serve scratch-made meals that help fuel growing minds and bodies for everything the day has in store. 💙

Our students and teachers celebrated National Popsicle Day the sweetest way we know how: cooling off outside with a refreshing treat and plenty of smiles. Here's to making the most of these remaining summer days!

Spanish immersion and play-based learning go hand in hand. 🌱

Play is how young children make sense of the world, so it's also one of the most natural ways to learn a new language. As students build, create, explore, and imagine together, they're hearing and using Spanish in meaningful, everyday moments.

That same play-based approach extends far beyond language learning. Through hands-on experiences, our students build early literacy and math skills, strengthen problem-solving and creativity, and develop the social-emotional skills they'll use for years to come.

When learning happens through play, children don't have to choose between having fun and building a strong foundation for the future. They get both! ✨
