Re Boot Fitness
Cross Training, Run & Triathlon Training, & Health Coaching for Lifestyle Change. ReBoot Fitness is the perfect way to kick up your work out routine.
ReBoot Fitness offers challenging, total body, cross training program that focuses on your cardiovascular health, muscle strength, agility, and endurance. The classes are varied and use a variety of techniques, very simple equipment and even the local landscape for cardio exercises such as running hills and sprints plus strengthening such as push-ups, lunges, squats, and pull-ups. The classes offer not only total body work but also camaraderie among fellow "boot campers." ReBoot Fitness is a great way to get in shape and change your entire attitude about exercise. We are outdoors 90% of the time so dress in layers, bring water, a towel, and free weights (3-8 Lbs for women; 8-12 lbs for men). In addition we offer Speciality Training Clinics for Tough Mudder type races, triathlons, and running. Small group fitness options, have a group of friends with a common goal, we can customize your fitness to fit your groups goal. NEW: We are also offering health coaching for lifestyle change. So many Americans desire to reach better health and wellness but end up in a cycle of starting out with ambitious goals only to slip back into old patterns of unhealthy behavior. With 75% of all health care costs going to the treatment of chronic disease we all need guidance, planning, accountability, support and motivation to achieve a more balanced healthy lifestyle. The CDC reports that many chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, asthma, cancer and metabolic syndrome can be prevented or managed by eating a healthier diet, increasing physical activity, managing stress and changing behaviors. We will work on goal setting, self monitoring, nutritional & calorie expenditure needs, independent exercise programming, belief systems, setting up positive environments, motivation & adherence. REBOOT VISION STATEMENT
I believe that we are all athletes no matter our fitness level. I believe that deep down we all have a sense of adventure and desire to be healthy and fit. I envision creating a sense of community among my students. I believe in providing skills, tools and guidance to my students so they can continue to grow and try new challenges. I will bring these beliefs to life by listening, having patience, showing compassion, pushing my students when they need pushing, being honest and accountable. I envision my passion and enthusiasm for living a healthy, active, and meaningful life to motivate and positively affect my student’s lives not for the short term but for the rest of their lives.

They all kicked off this week’s stair challenge, at least one round & some multiple rounds!
Great start, let’s see who else gets going on this.

Our stair challenge starts tomorrow.
5 minutes of stairs as many times as you can get in for the week (of course those in class will get some help 😉).
•it can be up & down a set of stairs it doesn’t have to be all up
• it does have to be 5 minutes at one time to count
• I will take a stair stepper & step ups but only twice, the rest needs to be stairs
• it can be a walk up & down, does not need to be a run
Reach out with questions & let’s see who masters this challenge.
One proud coach, my whole crew medaled at this mornings race!
Love ❤️ to the Addison Road Warriors. A good run in the ran can be quite inspirational 😉🏃♀️🏅.
Next up let’s do some stairs.

The Addison Road Warriors rocked it this morning. The whole team medaled, the rain did not detour us & we honestly had a fun morning.
Simply the best! 🏃♀️🏅
Addison Road Warriors race tomorrow & it looks like rain 🌧️ but I know this crew will get it done. ✔️
The location for the race looks charming & remember you don’t “have” to run but a race can show you what you are capable of. 😉
Integrated Fitness made it work inside tonight.
And this month there’s a lot of stairs & jumping.
Jumping is great for:
• lower body, upper body & core
• boosts that heart rate
• improves bone density
• works balance & coordination
This program not only works strength but helps with functional strength for living & moving well.
Consider checking us out on Monday & Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm at Addison Park District's Club Fitness.
Message me with questions 😉

Our recipe of the month. This recovery cup treat.
I made these for my run crew 2 weeks ago & they loved them so why not make it the recipe of the month.
What’s great is the protein/carb combo post workout with just a little sweetness to make this feel like an indulgent treat.

We were gifted with a beautiful night for our Integrated Fitness class at Addison Park District's Club Fitness.
The season will be pushing us inside soon but we take advantage of the outdoor training for multiple reasons but one of them is the fact that spending time & training outdoors improves our longevity.
Yep time outside is crucial for living longer & healthier! I’m glad this crew gets it.

Friday Farmers Market finds: I did get to the market on Friday.
And this is a good time to talk about 1 of the questions on our nutrition quiz. The difference between fueling vrs filling.
Fueling is eating real food like in this picture for energy, health & fitness performance.
Filling is eating to just fill a hunger or a craving or to soothe anxiety & sometimes to celebrate. The problem with filling is it’s often ultra processed foods, too much filling isn’t serving us in the long run.
Plus what you see in the post provides healthy carbs, fiber & yes protein.
Learn the art of fueling & you will be amazed how good you feel!
