Itās a very hot take within the pinball communityā¦ there are many people who donāt like that I refer to them as āpinball tablesāā¦
Playfield validation is tricky! It's not on every game, especially older EMs, Gottliebs, and solid states.
Most modern pinball machines rely on playfield validation to know when the ball is in play. You can often use this to your advantage to take your time setting up your skill shot. Often, but not always. (I'm looking at you, Stern Pinball Rush. š)
The more you practice, the better you'll get!

Honestly. I hate that I ever felt judged by the music I listened to growing up. I would limit myself to one genre and never venture out. Iām so thankful for my friend Katie who introduced me to K-pop two years ago because itās some of my favorite music I listen to now. And the concerts are so much fun!! Canāt wait to see in a few weeks!!! Also. Canāt believe the footage of Nekrogoblikon lined up perfectly with this sound šš

If youāre new, Iām a pinballer, gamer, and spooky stuff enthusiast! In my day job, Iām a trainer and instructional designer, so not only do I create training for a living, I spend my free time creating training for my hobby. šš
I mainly like to post educational pinball content because I feel like there is a huge gap between the average player and tournament player. Not that there isnāt great resources available! Sometimes itās hard to digest and a lot of information, so I try and break it down to short videos or bite size chunks to help you elevate your game!
Iām in a transition phase in my life. I still compete but am very selective with events because I value people over points and having fun. I was once 36th in the world for womanās, but those days are over. I donāt care about my ranking, I care about having fun!
So if you want to learn more about pinball, but also donāt mind my occasional gaming obsession, dog pictures and concert adventures, you are in the right place! Thanks for being here and supporting!!

Happy Friday everyone! After work, gonna spend my weekend gaming and maybe play some pinball! Currently playing Voidtrain with my friend and Bookshop Simulator by myself. Trying to figure out what pinball skill or rules to make a video for next š¤š¤
What are you up to this weekend?
There are so many different pinball tournament formats. We all have our favorite. I look forward to the running of the Gauntlet every year at Pincinnati: The Greater Cincinnati Pinball Show!
