Treaters $16–$20; observers $13–$17. Mapleside Farms’ Superhero Weekend runs Friday–Sunday with costumes, hayrides, the corn maze and Pumpkin Village attractions. Friday opens at noon; Saturday 11 AM–9 PM; Sunday 11 AM–6 PM. Standard Saturday/Sunday admission $18; ages 2 and younger FREE.

2️⃣🍺🍕 PINTS AND PIES | AKRON — Friday, 7 PM at the Akron Civic Theatre. Craft b**r, c***r, mead and unlimited pizza and dessert-pie samples make this an easy evening to build plans around. Admission includes 25 drink tickets. Ages 21+. TICKETED

3️⃣🎸 TWO TOURING ACTS AT THE KENT STAGE | KENT — Don Was and the Pan Detroit Ensemble perform Friday at 7:30 PM, bringing a Grammy-winning musician and producer to the intimate Kent Stage. Duane Betts & Palmetto Motel follow Saturday at 7:30 PM with Southern rock, blues and guitar-driven jams. TICKETED.

4️⃣🤘 EMISSIONS FROM THE MONOLITH | YOUNGSTOWN — The heavy-music gathering returns to Westside Bowl October 8–11, with a lineup including Torche, Weedeater, Bongzilla and more. A substantial weekend option for fans of metal, doom, sludge and heavy rock. Check the daily lineup before choosing your night. TICKETED.

5️⃣🎭 TWO OPENING-WEEKEND MUSICALS | AKRON + NEW PHILADELPHIA — Evil Dead: The Musical opens at Akron’s Knight Stage with campy horror, rock music and plenty of fake blood. Bonnie & Clyde opens at the Little Theatre of Tuscarawas County with the story of the notorious outlaws. Both offer Friday/Saturday performances at 7:30 PM and Sunday matinees at 2:30 PM. TICKETED; Little Theatre admission is $20 adults, $15 children/students.

6️⃣🎻 BANDONEÓN & BEETHOVEN | CANTON — Saturday, 7:30 PM at Umstattd Hall. Canton Symphony Orchestra pairs tango-inspired music with the symphonic tradition for a different kind of Saturday night. Tickets $20–$70, including fees; children 17 and younger and college students receive FREE admission through the box office.

7️⃣🛍️ TWO DESTINATION SHOPPING EVENTS | WOOSTER + COLUMBIANA — Vintage Market Days fills the Wayne County Fairgrounds with vintage finds, handmade goods, décor and food trucks Friday/Saturday, 10 AM–4 PM, and Sunday, 10 AM–3 PM. Gate admission $10 Friday/Saturday or $7 Sunday; children 12 and younger FREE; parking FREE. Christmas In The Woods opens Saturday/Sunday, 9 AM–5 PM, with juried artisans, demonstrations, holiday shopping and food in the Shaker Woods setting. TICKETED; parking FREE.

8️⃣🥒 TWO SATURDAY STOPS IN STARK COUNTY | CANTON + ALLIANCE — Canton Pickle Fest 2.0 runs 11 AM–6 PM at the Stark County Fairgrounds with pickle vendors, creative foods, shopping and family activities. TICKETED. University of Mount Union’s ArtFest runs 10 AM–4 PM around the Campus Lakes in Alliance, with original art, live music and the accompanying Carnation City Food Truck Rally. ArtFest admission is FREE; food and purchases extra.

9️⃣🚗 MEDINA COUNTY FALL FOLIAGE TOUR | MEDINA COUNTY — Saturday/Sunday, noon–5 PM. Follow the self-guided route to discover local agriculture, history and places you might otherwise drive past. Bring the tour map and make an afternoon of exploring the county’s countryside.

🔟🚜 ALGONQUIN MILL FALL FESTIVAL | CARROLLTON — Friday–Sunday at the historic mill complex south of town. Steam-powered mills, traditional crafts, antique machinery and old-fashioned food make this one of the weekend’s most distinctive heritage outings. Admission charged; check the organizer’s current visitor details before leaving.

1️⃣1️⃣🏈 AKRON ZIPS VS. EASTERN MICHIGAN | AKRON — Saturday, 3:30 PM at Infocision Field. Trade the festival circuit for an afternoon of college football close to home and cheer on the Akron Zips. TICKETED.

1️⃣2️⃣💜 WALK TO END ALZHEIMER’S | AKRON — Saturday at Lock 3 Park, with the event beginning at 8:30 AM. Gather friends or family and join a community morning supporting Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Register with the Alzheimer's Association; confirm the ceremony and walk-start times when planning your arrival.
