🚨 REMINDER: EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT DRILL – THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8 🚨

Springfield Local Schools will conduct a full-scale emergency management drill this Thursday, October 8, at Spring Hill Elementary School in cooperation with local police, fire, and emergency response agencies.

Community members may notice emergency vehicles, emergency personnel, and loud noises in and around the Spring Hill area during the morning hours.

Please remember: This is only a planned training exercise. There is no real emergency.

Thank you for your understanding as we work with our local first responders to keep our schools and community safe and prepared.

Miss Clark’s 5th grade Language Arts students have been practicing their writing skills every other Friday through creative writing journals! The students have been using their imaginations, building their writing stamina, and having fun putting their ideas on paper.

The class had a surprise visitor! Ruby, our school dog, stopped by to see how everyone’s writing was coming along. The students were excited to share their work and loved having Ruby join them for a little writing inspiration!

Springfield Local Schools will conduct a full-scale emergency management drill at Spring Hill Elementary School on Thursday, October 8, in partnership with local police, fire, and emergency response agencies.

Families and community members may notice an increased presence of emergency vehicles and personnel in the area, as well as loud noises associated with the exercise. This is a planned training exercise; there is no real emergency.
