Hi all. Chris the Manger here. We had an odd interaction today with a "customer" with regard to taking photos of the new comics on the stand in the store. They were not happy when they were asked not to do so. We wanted to clarify. Though we welcome photography in the store most times including vintage and back issue products, an email was recently sent out from one of the two largest comic book distributors asking that photos of new comics not be taken and posted other than MAYBE the covers. And certainly not before their date of sale (which applies mostly to us). That is a policy being sent down from the publishers and distributors. We must abide by these rules or risk having our accounts with said companies suspended. If you want to take and post photos of new comics while you are sitting in your car or in your kitchen, we have no say over that. But you are not permitted to just come into our place of business and start pulling out new comics and take pictures. I guess I would think most people would say, "Is it ok if I..." Thanks for understanding. 'Nuff said.

Good morning all. Just a quick update. All of our comics are in from Distributor #1 (Marvel, Dark Horse, IDW, etc) including the first issue of Queen in Black. We are waiting for comics from Distributor #2 (DC, Image, Dynamite, etc.). It's tracking but no arrival date just yet. This week though. We just wanted to keep you in the loop.

Don't forget, our live streaming auction is tonight at 6:00 on WhatNot. All kinds of new books this week. Plus we have Queen In Black issue 1 blind bags from Marvel. You never know what cover you're going to get. It could be a highly sought after cover! Also, the first 10 people who come into the store tomorrow and buy a copy of Queen In Black will get a Venom superball. Yeah we know, there's a joke in there somewhere.
