The Transfiguration is an important event in the Gospels that reveals Jesus as the Son of God. With Peter, James, and John, Jesus went up a mountain to pray.

As our summer comes to a close, we say goodbye to Johannes, John, and Steven who have been with us these past few months. We pray for them and all their brothers who return to their studies.

This fall, St. Sebastian Parish will be offering a program called Alpha. Alpha is a program for everyone, where we look at life's biggest questions and have an opportunity to talk about them in a very relaxed atmosphere where everyone is welcome. Our August Theology on the Rocks session will give you a sample of what Alpha is like in what we call "A Taste of Alpha." This session of TOR will be different, but awesome. One of the differences is that there is no charge to get in. While there will still be a charge if you want to buy drinks, there is no fee to attend.
