Guests with different abilities are invited to enjoy the zoo without the loud noises or crowds during our next Zoothing Hour on Saturday, Aug. 15 from 9 - 10 a.m. This experience is included with general admission tickets and is FREE for Akron Zoo members. Hear ye, hear ye! The Renaissance Faire will return to ye olde Akron Zoo for a third triumphant year! To mark the occasion, the faire has been extended to a fourth day: June 10 - 13, 2027, from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Jesters, bards, merchants and more are invited to apply as soon as possible to sell wares or perform. More details will be available in the coming months.

Unroll your yoga mats for Namaste at the Zoo on Saturday, Aug. 29 from 8 - 11 a.m. This all-levels yoga class and relaxation workshop offers a peaceful start to your day as you stretch, breathe and connect with nature.
