This weekend go say hi to Anthony & Kate, two of my very good friends who will be holding down the BTR fort!!! Anthony (NOT BEN) is a huge SKA lover and fantastic trombone player (as heard on the classic BENERGY album) and would love to chat with you about all things ska. And while Kate also loves ska, as an urban wildlife ecologist she would love to field any WEIRD ANIMAL questions you might have so prep some good ones. Lots of new stuff in the shop so go dig around and have fun!!!

And for you folks on the internet, don’t forget today is BANDCAMP FRIDAY - so go stock up on the latest physical and digital releases on the best day to support artists and indie labels. The new Devon Kay & the Solutions is out next week so it’s a great time to go pre order that…

I’ll be back in the shop next week ✌️

The weather is BAD so it’s a GREAT day to go record shopping and then attend a matinee indoor ska show!!!! Store will be open normal hours 11-6, but I’ll be ducking out early to catch NY STATE OF SKA which is now being held at DARKSIDE RECORDS! See you soon ✌️

Huge thanks to Ariana at The New Paltz Oracle for checking out the store and doing such a kind write up!!! Head to the oracle page to read the full thing… or come visit me at the shop this weekend and see for yourself 🫡
