NEW RELEASE: ST. GEORGE CALIFORNIA UMESHU
We’re thrilled to announce the upcoming release of St. George California Umeshu, a one-of-a-kind ume fruit liqueur made from California ume fruit, our very own California Shochu, and organic cane sugar.

FRIENDS, THIS HAS BEEN A LONG TIME COMING...
We’ve been making umeshu for over a decade now so that we’d have umeshu finishing casks for our Baller American Single Malt Wh***ey program. All the while, we’ve been stashing away the umeshu we’d made in barrel—and we finally have enough to share as a limited, distillery-only release.

RELEASE DAY: FRIDAY. OCTOBER 9
Join us for release day at the distillery on Friday, October 9! Our doors will be open 4–7pm and we’ll be offering a special tasting experience ($15) that includes a straight pour of California Umeshu, a mini umeshu highball, and a bar snack.

No reservations are needed, just drop in anytime 4–7pm on October 9 to raise a glass. Pre-orders are not required to join the fun, but any pre-ordered bottles will be set aside for you and ready to pick up in the bottle shop.

PRE-ORDER NOW
Pre-orders are live! If you can’t join us on Friday, October 9 to pick up your bottles on release day, you can still pre-order bottles for pickup in our bottle shop at a later date—or for delivery anywhere in California. Bottles ordered for delivery will begin shipping the week of October 12.

With great pears come great responsibility, so we take our pear spirits—and pear cocktails—very seriously around here.

Our flagship Pear Brandy is astonishingly aromatic, with a purity of flavor that shines through in any cocktail that calls for intense pear character without additional sweetness. We love it in a Pear Daiquiri, a cocktail that’s vibrant, refreshing, and eminently crushable.

Our Spiced Pear Liqueur works its magic a different way, adding lushness and warm baking spice notes to anything it touches. A Spiced Pear Old Fashioned with Spiced Pear and our Lot series single malt is cozy fall comfort in a glass.

Together our pear spirits harmonize beautifully. Try them both in one our favorite seasonal sips: A Fistful of Pears.

Swipe for these recipes, then head to the link in bio to find our spirits near you or to shop now.

“The only way to win new palates is through pure, good juice.”

So writes 🥂 Kathleen Willcox 🥂 in Good + Tasty about one of the most challenging periods in the history of spirits production—and how St. George Spirits is faring at 44 years of operation.

Her words are bolstered by the perspectives of ashleyvesci, JESSY RAE, and Mark A. Mentzel, who says “I could spend hours waxing poetic about how good St. George’s portfolio is, how proud I am to serve their products, and how easy it is to get my bartenders to fall in love with these bottles.”

For more on love, inspiration, and pure, good juice, read the full story at the link in bio.

And thank you to Ashley, Jessy, and Mark for your kind words of support, and to Kathleen for speaking to master distiller Lance Winters for this story.

XXVI! 🥃

Lot 26 of St. George American Single Malt Wh***ey is *now available* at the distillery bottle shop and in our online shop for shipping anywhere within California.

Made from our signature Lot series mash bill, Lot 26 shares its DNA with previous releases in the series, but is a distinct expression that’s compelling in its own right.

To create Lot 26, we selected and blended 25 diverse casks from our wh***ey library, including used American oak barrels that previously held bourbon, shaved and re-toasted French oak barrels, casks that previously held apple brandy, and California Sauternes-style w**e casks. All told, the blend averaged about six and a half years in barrel.

The resulting wh***ey expresses cocoa, brown butter, and marzipan on the nose. It’s rich on the palate, with notes of buttery pastry, tahini, marmalade, and dark chocolate.

Intrigued? Taste for yourself as part of a limited Lot series tasting flight here at the distillery. Reserve your tasting or purchase bottles now at the link in bio.

Not local? We expect Lot 26 to start popping up in NorCal and SoCal bottle shops right after Labor Day, as well as rolling out in other states throughout the fall season.

Pears, pears, pears! Thanks to a super early harvest this year, we’ve been all about pears for about a month now—and we’ll continue to receive literal tons more beautiful Bartletts as we get deeper into the season.

Working with a fresh agricultural ingredient is always an adventure. The pears finish ripening here on our production floor, and when it’s time for us to get to work, they tell us loud and clear.

Crushing, fermenting, and distilling pears keeps our team extra busy during the fall season.

Our mission: Capture the essence of the fruit so that it speaks to you as clearly from the glass as the fresh pears do to us here at the distillery.

Our reward: When you tell us how much you love our flagship Pear Brandy and Spiced Pear Liqueur, pour these spirits in your homes, and share them with guests at your bars and restaurants.

From a sensory perspective here at the distillery, when we have ripe pears on the production floor, the aroma is heady and transportive—making it an especially wonderful time to visit us.

For a taste of the harvest, find bottles, explore recipes, or reserve your tasting at the link in bio.
