I spent a couple hours at Light Rider Studios and was given a wet plate demonstration by Randall. It was a blast and now I think I need to add archaic photography to my list of hobbies. At Browsers’ we are a drop off location for film that Koa at Light Rider Studios will develop and scan for you. It’s such a great local resource. I plan to spend more time there over the next year and I think y’all would be interested in joining a demonstration or taking a class. Thank you again Koa.

It has arrived! Rare and Used is about many things in the bookselling world. Including Browsers’ Bookstore and myself. Written by my good friend Daniel Dietz and published by Oregon State University Press we will have a signing September 12 at 4:00 pm! Save the date and come get your copy signed.

Hopefully I’ll have some new bookmarks and bags made up before the Seattle Art Book Fair in October. Maybe even some bookseller’s labels for my favorite books.
