We’ll have expert face painters in the gallery on Halloween!

Cut vinyl artist Bill Thompson and painter Cheryl French will sideline to paint kids’ faces, free of charge, during Albany’s Downtown Trick or Treat on Oct. 31, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

We’re issuing 50 tickets — first-come, first-serve — on Oct. 31 to kids to have their faces painted. Come to the check-out desk to get your ticket!

Gallery members will also hand out candy to kids outside. Join us for spooky, great fun!

Cut paper artist Melissa Babcock Saylor has eight pieces of her artwork on display at Lebanon Community Hospital. The hospital has a dedicated gallery wall in one of the corridors. Melissa’s cheerful artwork will be there for the months of October and November 2026.

Thank you for joining us for our Featured Artist Reception tonight. It was a special evening with many guests for Dennis Johanson and Susan Bourdet.

Watercolor artist Susan Bourdet is showing all new work during her time in the ‘featured artist’ spotlight at Gallery Calapooia in October. Join us for our monthly First Friday reception and meet Susan and our other featured artist, potter Dennis Johanson, on Oct. 2, 6-8 p.m. Enjoy refreshments and live music, mingle with the gallery artists and check out our work.

If you’re in Tillamook in the next weeks, check out our textile artist Karen Miller’s exhibit at the Latimer Quilt and Textile Center. Karen’s work is featured until Oct. 31.

Our glass artists Carol Houk and Steve Terhune and ceramic artist Ute Vergin will be at Corvallis Fall Festival this year. Look for them in the booth of the Fire and Light Glass Guild ( #96) and the Corvallis Art Guild ( #103).
