For Pride Month, we’re looking back at some favorite archival moments from our past narrative shows. As an all-female company, one of our greatest joys and deepest responsibilities is prioritizing q***r stories on stage.

Dance gives us the unique language to explore community, intersectionality, and love without limits. Whether exploring historical subtext or modern realities, we create to uplift, connect, and celebrate the beautiful diversity of our community.

We’re building a world where matriarchs rewrite the rules, and we’re so grateful that the City of Albuquerque believes in that vision.

We’re thrilled to share that our Artistic Director, Annmarie Garcia Sheahan, has been awarded a 2026–2027 UETF Resiliency Residency, a city grant supporting artists shaping Albuquerque’s creative future. This funding directly fuels the development of our next original production, The Serpent Underneath.

Rooted in feminist theory, q***r storytelling, and the bones of Macbeth, this original narrative follows a community that leaves dominant society behind to build their own utopia (and the power struggles that rise beneath the surface.)

We’re endlessly proud of Annmarie’s dedication to interrogating classic literature through embodied retellings. This show has been years in the making, and we are honored to bring it to life with the City of Albuquerque’s support. ✨

In the chaos of closing night, we had a massive oversight and didn’t grab our amazing Front of House Manager emvossclawson for the group photo. 🥲 We are so incredibly sorry, Em!

We wanted to take a moment to give them a massive shoutout. Not only did they keep the lobby running smoothly, welcome our audience with open arms, and manage the raffle, but they also made these amazing bracelets for everyone.

Thank you for keeping us organized AND accessorized. We appreciate you so much and literally couldn’t have done this run without you! 🐾✨

Still riding the high from this weekend. This cast and crew showed up in full force, and the audience met us right there. (We saw all of your fabulous Lady Gaga-inspired costumes 🤩)
