One year since Sing to Me, Muse took its final bow. A world of myth, devotion, and epic storytelling that still echoes in us.

Forever grateful for this show, this team, and the magic we made together.
✨🌿

And who knows… some echoes have a way of returning when the time is right.

Huge love to our Evil Dead family for winning Top Musical, Top Actor in a Musical, and Top Costume Design (Theatre) at the New Mexico Entertainment Awards last night! 🎉

We’re so proud of you all, this recognition is so deeply deserved. Today we’re celebrating our people, our brilliant collaborators, and this incredible performing arts community that keeps things wonderfully weird and alive (or undead 🧟✨).

“Who could refrain, that had a heart to love...” 🤍✨

A small glimpse into the world of The Serpent Underneath. This still from To Dwell in Doubtful Joy captures a truth at the heart of the work: rain renews, reveals, and refuses to let illusions hold.

We’re so grateful to the City of Albuquerque’s UETF Resiliency Residency for making this creation process possible (see our pinned post for more information on that!) Follow along as this world coils into being, revealing itself in spells, shadows, and slow‑gathering storms.

Creating spaces where we all belong 🫶🏳️‍🌈

For Pride Month, we’re looking back at some favorite archival moments from our past narrative shows. As an all-female company, one of our greatest joys and deepest responsibilities is prioritizing q***r stories on stage.

Dance gives us the unique language to explore community, intersectionality, and love without limits. Whether exploring historical subtext or modern realities, we create to uplift, connect, and celebrate the beautiful diversity of our community.

Happy Pride, everyone! ✨

“By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes…” 🕯️✨

One number down, nineteen to go! January 2027 is coming 🐍

Look like the innocent flower, but be The Serpent Underneath. 🥀🐍

We’re building a world where matriarchs rewrite the rules, and we’re so grateful that the City of Albuquerque believes in that vision.

We’re thrilled to share that our Artistic Director, Annmarie Garcia Sheahan, has been awarded a 2026–2027 UETF Resiliency Residency, a city grant supporting artists shaping Albuquerque’s creative future. This funding directly fuels the development of our next original production, The Serpent Underneath.

Rooted in feminist theory, q***r storytelling, and the bones of Macbeth, this original narrative follows a community that leaves dominant society behind to build their own utopia (and the power struggles that rise beneath the surface.)

We’re endlessly proud of Annmarie’s dedication to interrogating classic literature through embodied retellings. This show has been years in the making, and we are honored to bring it to life with the City of Albuquerque’s support. ✨
📬 January 22–24, 2027 — mark your calendars!

We want to extend a massive congratulations to our Marketing Director, Denise Nava, on being named one of Albuquerque’s 40 Under 40 by ! 🥂

We are incredibly proud of Denise and the meaningful, lasting impact her work has on our local community. Thank you for your leadership, passion, and dedication, Denise—this honor is so well-deserved! 👏✨
