Wonderful! Democrats know the Great Outdoors is for everyone!

Did you know the New Mexico Outdoor Recreation Division was created in 2019 to increase equitable access to the outdoors for all New Mexicans, supporting healthy outcomes, environmental stewardship and economic prosperity. With the creation of our office was the nation's first state-funded Outdoor Equity Fund grant program. We’re guided by five core values:

Sustainable Economic Development
Equity and Access
Conservation and Stewardship
Education
Health and Well-being

From supporting outdoor businesses and investing in trails and infrastructure to expanding outdoor opportunities for underserved youth, these values guide our work to ensure all New Mexicans have access to safe and meaningful time outdoors. Learn more at nmoutside.com

Since taking office in 2023, Rep. Gabe Vasquez and his casework teams have helped more than 2,300 New Mexicans navigate federal bureaucracy and recover more than $6 million in money they were owed.

From VA benefits and Social Security payments to tax returns and RECA claims, the work has focused on cutting through red tape and helping people get the federal benefits and assistance they deserve.

Now, with the opening of a new Albuquerque office at 7801 La Morada Pl. NW, even more New Mexicans will have a local resource when they need help dealing with a federal agency.
