This week, our apprentices were educated on the importance of Fire/Smoke Damper training. The education in this course highlighted our role in ensuring building safety, occupant safety, proper installation, technician training, inspection, and much more.
The training in this course will give the next generation of union sheet metal workers a thorough understanding of how to perform their duties with quality and integrity, while adhering to manufacturer and code specifications.
That’s the SMART LU 49 JATC difference.
Our outreach coordinator is always out making connections within our community! Today he is set up at John Adams Middle School here in Albuquerque. Getting kids interested in the trades early can give them direction in school and beyond.
Last month we were so proud to host an ambassador tour in conjunction with the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce at our new satellite facility. We are proud to be part of the Lubbock community!
We take our safety training seriously with a hands on approach! Here are some first years in Lubbock working on fire safety.
