Artificial intelligence is making on line scams more convincing and much harder to spot. A familiar voice may not belong to the person you think. A video can show someone saying something they never said. Even websites, products, photos, and social media accounts can be completely fake. In this class we'll explore some of the surprising ways Al is being used to deceive people on line and the tactics scammers use to create trust, urgency, and fear. You'll learn why seeing and hearing aren't always believing anymore, and simple habits that can help you slow down, verify and think before you click.
