Best Buddies New Mexico is excited to officially reveal the theme for our 2026 Champion of the Year: Blank Canvas, Purple Impact!
This year, we’re celebrating the impact we can create when our community comes together to champion inclusion, friendship, leadership, and opportunity for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
And we’re bringing the theme to life! 🤍
Guests are invited to dress in ALL WHITE, representing our blank canvas, while Best Buddies purple fills the evening as a symbol of the impact we’re creating together.

What a way to kick off Champion of the Year! đź’ś
Last night, we brought our incredible 2026 Champions together in one room to celebrate the official start of their Champion of the Year campaigns!
We are so grateful to everyone who joined us to celebrate, connect, and help us launch what we know will be an unforgettable season. Our Champions are ready to raise awareness, share our mission, and make an incredible impact for Best Buddies in New Mexico.

Ready to grow your confidence, strengthen your leadership skills, and make meaningful connections? Join us for Best Buddies New Mexico Ambassador Academy, running September through May!

Ambassador Academy is open to people with and without disabilities who are passionate about inclusion and want to become leaders in their schools, workplaces, and communities. Each month, we’ll build leadership skills, practice public speaking and self-advocacy, make new friends, and have a lot of fun along the way!

⚽💜 This weekend, thanks to our incredible partnership with New Mexico United , 29 members of the Best Buddies New Mexico community—including buddies, family members, and supporters—had the opportunity to attend Saturday’s match!

Experiences like these are about so much more than the game itself. They create opportunities for connection, inclusion, friendship, and unforgettable memories. Seeing our buddies and their support networks come together to enjoy an exciting night in our community was truly special.

We are incredibly grateful to New Mexico United for helping make experiences like this possible and for their commitment to creating an inclusive community for all.
