Whether you are new to food safety, or interested in becoming an Approved Supplier for the New Mexico Grown program, the NMFMA’s food safety trainings are designed for small-scale growers like you.

Big news for New Mexico farmers: the Delicious New Mexico Aggregation Center (DMAC) opens September 18 right behind the South Valley Economic Development Center, and it's the first facility of its kind in the state.
Right now, about 30% of NM growers don't have a way to wash their own produce before it hits the market. DMAC solves that, plus we're bringing light manufacturing for value-added products into the same building, with capacity to process up to 10,000 pounds of produce a day.
South Valley farmers get priority, but this facility serves the whole state, with pickup and delivery available for growers who can't get their harvest here themselves.

Right now this room is just studs, framing, and plastic sheeting. Soon it’s going to be full of New Mexico chile, squash, beans, and produce, staged and ready to roll out to schools, hospitals, and food banks across the state.
Every wall in this building has a job to do: receiving, cold storage, sorting, packing. It looks like a construction site today.
