In 1989, ARCA continued opening doors to greater independence through community-based living. 💚💛
In ARCA group homes, people built everyday living skills through cooking, shopping, managing money, caring for their homes, and being part of their communities.
These homes offered more than a place to live. They created opportunities for people to make choices, take on responsibilities, and build greater independence in their everyday lives.
As ARCA continued to grow, so did the opportunities for people to live and participate in the communities they called home.

From encouraging personal goals and independence to building connections and sharing everyday moments, our DSPs are an important part of ARCA.

It is encouraging someone to try something new, being there when support is needed, sharing a laugh, and simply enjoying time together.

Today, we celebrate the people whose hard work and dedication help open doors and create opportunities throughout our community.
Please note that ARCA offices are closed today in observance of Labor Day. Regular office hours will resume Tuesday, September 8.
