Our 15th Annual Bowl-A-Rama: Superheroes of Inclusion brought together bowlers, volunteers, sponsors, donors, and supporters for a day filled with fun, connection, and community. 💚

💚 Meet Felix & Bill 💚

Some connections never fade.

More than 30 years ago, Bill worked with Felix as his service coordinator. Although life took Bill to other parts of the country, he often thought about Felix and wondered how he was doing.

This spring, a visit to ARCA's geranium sale led Bill back to Felix. After reconnecting with ARCA staff, plans were made for the two to meet again on Memorial Day.

When Bill walked through the door, it was as if no time had passed. Felix and Bill immediately began sharing stories, joking, and catching up on life. Their laughter filled the room and drew smiles from everyone nearby.

As they talked, Bill asked Felix about his interests and the things he enjoys doing. Before long, Bill offered to become one of Felix's natural supports. Felix's response was immediate and heartfelt: "You want to be my natural support?"

The answer was yes.

Now, the two are making plans to spend more time together, including teaming up for ARCA's Bowl-A-Rama.

Our individuals create family wherever they go. Sometimes, years later, those connections are rekindled. The heart remembers. 💚
