We’re honored to welcome Loren Aragon of Acoma Pueblo and his brand Loren Aragon as one of our featured designers for Fashion Style in Motion at SOMOSABQ 🔥🕺🏽💃🏽

A nationally recognized fashion designer and multimedia artist, Loren has showcased his work across the country through his former brand ACONAV, collaborated with Walt Disney World, and was honored as Phoenix Fashion Week’s Couture Designer of the Year.

Through Towering Stone, Loren continues to push Indigenous fashion forward, blending innovation, culture, and the powerful design traditions of Acoma Pueblo into a premium fashion brand rooted in New Mexico.

FASHION STYLE IN MOTION 🌪️

Native Guitars Tour × SOMOS ABQ are bringing Indigenous fashion into the heart of the festival 🌱 and Morningstar Designs is coming with us.

Meet Helena Tsosie-Martin, owner and designer of Helena Tsosie a Native-owned business based right here in New Mexico.

Helena’s story started at just seven years old, when she received a Holly Hobbie sewing machine and began learning from watching her mother sew. That early spark grew into a lifelong passion for creating one-of-a-kind garments and custom powwow regalia for dancers across the United States and Canada.

Her work has made its way from the powwow arena to the PBR World Finals, New Mexico Entertainment Television, and LA Skins Fest, and she has taken home wins from two fashion shows.

Now she’s bringing that experience, craftsmanship, and Native artistry to SOMOSABQ

A little love from last month’s Santa Fe B-Sides. 🖤

That night was a celebration of matriarchs, women, creativity, and the power of showing up as your full self.

We were honored to create a stage for Suspended bringing movement, strength, and a whole lot of energy into the room. A longtime force in the metal and hardcore scene, they brought that same raw energy and unapologetic spirit to the night.

There’s something powerful about watching women take up space, tell their stories, and move together.
