Friday May 1st-4th. Tombstone 2026. What a wonderful weekend with our ALR family! A few riders from Chapter 10 Post 69, Chapter 24 Post 118, Clovis Post 25 Chapter 2, Deming Post 4 Chapter 12, and Las Cruces Post 10 Chapter 4. 35 Riders in total who joined in on the fun. Director Chris from Chapter 4 fired up the grill at Trail Riders Inn, serving up burgers and sides after the long ride in. Saturday's American Legion Post 24 Riders 16th Annual Bikers for Boots poker run was off the chain, with perfect weather and a killer route. The Commander led the ride through Sierra Vista and Bisbee, with stops that added to the excitement. After the ride, we all gathered back at the Post for food and camaraderie, and rocked out to a live band. Sunday's Lowell brunch at The Breakfast Club was a great way to refuel before Clovis riders headed home. Some of us went to Bisbee and shopped and then back to Tombstone and took an old timers photo after checking out The Birdcage Theater. Monday's early start back home led to a scenic cruise through Reserve, Datil to Magdalena, then the freeway the rest of the way home. For some, it was their first-time, for others their 2nd and 3rd, for Ben and I, it's our 7th year and there is always something new to see and do. Everyone got home safely. Another amazing weekend for the books!
