With Rack Focus- New Mexico 2026 complete, I just want to take a moment to reflect on the journey and how unbelievably blessed I was in my production.

It all started with a script and an urge to truly try and make something of my own. I like to pretend my first attempt at a short film doesn't exist, but I have come to accept that rough, ROUGH project does. The growth between these two projects is absolutely significant!

I met with my director to ask for his help making this story a reality, and he not only said yes but did so much more than I ever expected. I took a chance and reached out to someone much higher in the hierarchy of film to play an as***le of a character, and he was enthusiastically on board! An amazing DP, makeup artist, sound team, cast and crew came together to breathe life into a true story and make it even better.

I grew better at editing in over a decade old software and learned the beginnings of color correcting, I got blessed with a sound designer who made it sound perfect and continues to be an amazing member of the team.

I got to show their hard work, my story, and the team's performances on the big screen to my family, friends, and industry allies. Everyone enjoyed it, everyone laughed at the right parts and found parts of their own to love.

We didn't win any awards, no, but the best feeling in the world was knowing my family got to see it, everyone got to laugh and feel better for a good 9 minutes of their day. I got to be on the big screen to show my family that "hey, Dan't gonna be okay. He's doing great, he's doing what his calling in life is."

I'm looking forward to doing more of my calling in acting, writing, and stunts! Thank you to everyone who made this dream begin to come true!

Been working hard on a whole bunch of new projects lately, some are my own, some have requested me on!

Submitted my short film for Rack Focus early, and man it feels good to have that done and settled!

Next up is writing another short with John Gaetz, more auditions, and a potential project or two soon!

7 days, 4 projects, one of which is my own!! In just one week, I've been on 4 films as an actor, and that is a wonderful feeling!

It feels *damn* good to be working, making art, and hanging out with wonderful people on set. There's even more projects on the horizon, so keep your eyes here for more!

What an absolutely packed first 2 months of the year! Multiple trips to LA, so many auditions, three short films, new friends made and more!

I already have things brewing to make these next month's even better, including a short film that I am making, so keep your eyes here!

What was January for me? It was proof that someone can be doing wonderfully and terribly all at once.

At the beginning of the month I got called out to LA for a surprise audition and booked the rule.

My country continued its fall into fascism with government agents blatantly murdering citizens in the street.

I booked acting work locally in a short film and got to go out to LA to film another film!

I had to bury my beloved Boston, a cat who has been with me for the past 11 years, through some of the hardest points in my life making them all better.

Oh yes, I have been doing wonderfully, I have been working hard and making strides into making my dream and career take off, and I have been going through some unbelievably terrible times. The only way out is through, and your damn right I'm going to continue to work hard and accept the good while working to minimize the bad in my life and the lives of others.

It all started with a text.

I got invited to train in LA by and got to run into familiar faces like and meet some incredible new folks like .factor

Let's just say things are looking up and I am glad I picked up that text!

Before we forget, I am primarily an actor, and that means a whole lot of practice doing scenes in a self tape format.

It is unbelievably helpful to keeping my skills sharp to have do their actors work out night multiple times a month!
