We are excited to welcome Gerard Bartlett, MA, LMHC to Engage and Ignite Counseling!

Gerard brings a unique blend of clinical experience and 20 years of public service, including work as a police Commander, EMT, and wildland firefighter. He believes in creating a safe, compassionate, judgment free space where clients can focus on their resilience and goals. He is especially interested in the connection between mental and physical health and existential approaches to counseling.

Gerard currently has openings Tuesday and Wednesday mornings!

The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is an evidence-based listening therapy designed to reduce sound sensitivities and improve auditory processing, behavioral state regulation, and social engagement behaviors through filtered music.

As a practical application of Polyvagal Theory, the SSP acts as a non-invasive, acoustic vagal nerve stimulator, helping to retune the nervous system to better support connection, collaboration and resilience.

The SSP involves listening to specially filtered music through headphones alongside a provider in person or remotely. Suitable for children and adults, the SSP has demonstrated benefits for individuals with trauma, anxiety, sensory processing differences and more.

We are excited to welcome Lexy Mora to Engage and Ignite Counseling LLC. Her warm and compassionate presence will be a wonderful addition to our team.

Lexy is a Master’s level Counseling Intern who is passionate about creating a supportive and connected space for clients as they navigate life’s challenges and deepen self understanding. She brings curiosity, empathy, and a collaborative approach to her work with clients.

Lexy accepts Medicaid and also has reduced rate sessions available at $40 per session.
