Hanna Lee, from the Mouse Hole Cheese Shop in Downtown Albuquerque, recently won a nationwide competition, the Cheesemonger Invitational, and was named the best cheesemonger in the US. She was judged on a variety of different skills including sales skills, cheese wrapping, taste testing and more.
The Mouse Hole Cheese Shop is Albuquerque's only cut-to-order cheese shop. With a knowledgable and friendly staff, cheese lovers consistently sing the praises of this Downtown gem.

Casa Flamenca Albuquerque, NM is located inside a cozy casa near historic Old Town, with artists in residence from Spain. Performances happen inside at the tablao, where guests experience flamenco dances just inches away from them.

“It's important to present good flamenco with a good singer, with good dancers, with great musicians, and not just wing it,” Carmen, the executive and artistic director of Casa Flamenca says. “I want every night to be an amazing night for audiences.”

I Spy... an iconic city 😎

The Great Race is an antique, vintage and collector car competitive controlled-speed endurance road rally on public highways. It dates back to the early 1980s. This year featured cars from 1913-1974. They followed the Route 66 "Mother Road."

Albuquerque beat out seven other stops along the route, including Flagstaff, San Bernardino and Oklahoma City. Additionally, Gallup won the vote for the best lunch destination.
