👻 Okay...I definitely wasn't expecting to find THESE hiding inside!

The moment I cut open this Botswana Agate, beautiful layers of gray, white and soft translucent agate banding appeared—but then I noticed those bright white centers.

And now I can't unsee it. 😂

They look like two little ghosts surrounded by layer after layer of agate bands! 👻💎

This is exactly why I love rock cutting. Every rough rock is a mystery until the lapidary saw opens it up, and you never know what colors, agate banding, natural patterns or strange little surprises nature has hidden inside.

I Cut Open Noreena Jasper...This Rock Is LOUD! 🤯🔥💎

🔥🎸 Okay...this rock has some SERIOUS attitude!

The moment I cut open this Noreena Jasper, I couldn't believe the patterns hiding inside. Fiery orange-red, light gray, and brilliant yellow lines crisscross the stone in a wild natural design that looks like a cross between an '80s rock album cover and a famous electric guitar! 🤯💎

And somehow...NATURE made this.

That's what I love about rock cutting. A rough rock can give you clues about what's inside, but until the lapidary saw makes that first cut, you never really know what colors, jasper patterns or incredible surprises are waiting for the reveal.

The moment I cut open this Cotton Candy Agate, I was greeted by an incredible mix of soft blue-white agate, delicate banding and beautiful peachy-pink and orange formations scattered throughout the stone. The colors almost look like they were painted inside! 💎

I Cut Open Sodalite...It Looked Like a Stormy Sea! 🌊😳💎

💙😳 I was NOT prepared for that BLUE!

Cutting Chrysocolla Quartz...HOW Are These Colors Real?! 😳💎

🩵😳 Okay...nature REALLY showed off with this one!

The moment I cut open this Chrysocolla in Quartz, I couldn't believe the mix of colors hiding inside—brilliant turquoise green, robin's-egg blue, white quartz, steely gray and dramatic black all tangled together in one incredible rock. 💎

Every inch looks different! The bright blue and turquoise seem to streak right through the quartz, while the darker areas make those colors stand out even more. This is one of those rock cutting reveals that makes you wonder how nature created something that looks almost painted.

The moment I cut open this Malawi Agate, brilliant electric-orange banding practically jumped out against the beautiful quartz center. With the dark natural outer edge framing that glowing orange banding, this agate reveal was absolutely stunning! 😳💎

😳 Well...THAT wasn't part of the plan!

I cut open this gorgeous Ruby in Fuchsite for a rock-cutting reveal—and just as I opened the two halves, one slipped right out of my hand! 😬

Oops.

Thankfully, the little mishap couldn't take away from what was hiding inside. This Ruby in Fuchsite revealed a stunning combination of ruby and beautiful green fuchsite that made this cut completely worth it. 💎
