Big Things Are Growing: Expanding the Xylose Family in 2027!
Everything you know and love about Xylose Ranch is staying exactly the same—our core operations, our land, and our daily commitment aren't changing a bit. But we are growing our family of services!

In 2027, under the leadership of our CEO and founder Elazar Wells, we are officially expanding the Xylose brand to launch Xylose Ranch Studios—a brand-new, dedicated creative hub right here on the ranch.

Backed by over 10 years of experience making music and crafting songs, 19 years of expertise behind the camera, and a lifelong passion for independent filmmaking, this new branch brings our creative side to life.

Even better? True to our core mission of helping animals, 25% of all proceeds from Xylose Ranch Studios will go directly to animal shelters and rescues in need, building an even bigger impact through our work.

What’s New Coming in 2027:
Xylose Ranch Core Operations: Operating just as it always has—with zero changes to our everyday mission and property setup.
Professional Photography Setup: Top-tier lighting, backdrops, and gear tailored for crisp portraits and commercial work, backed by nearly two decades behind the lens.
A Dedicated Audio Recording Space: Built for tracking, mixing, and producing original music and sound projects, drawing on a full decade of songwriting experience.
A Full-Scale Film & Video Production Hub: Geared up for cinematic projects, indie film shoots, and dynamic visual storytelling.
The Mission-Driven Pledge: Every creative project booked helps fund animal welfare by donating 25% of proceeds directly to shelters in need.
Stay tuned as we expand our horizons, grow our impact, and count down to 2027!

The Evolution of a Legacy: Introducing Our New Logo
They say a dog can change the trajectory of your entire life. For me, that dog is Xylose.
Xylose wasn’t just a dog I rehabilitated, he was the teacher who completely redefined how I understand canine behavior. His resilience, intelligence, and spirit became the very foundation of our mission. He is the heartbeat of this organization, and the reason we fight for the dogs who need us most.
Because he represents our past, our present, and our future, it only made sense that he take center stage in our brand-new logo, featuring none other than the legend himself.
Big Updates on the Horizon

Big news from Xylose Ranch.

Today, I received my official AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator card and certificate in the mail. I am honored to be approved by the American Kennel Club as an AKC CGC Evaluator.

This achievement represents years of learning, working with dogs, and helping owners build stronger relationships with their canine companions. From training sessions to behavior work and everything in between, every dog has taught me something valuable along the way.

As an AKC CGC Evaluator, I am now able to administer AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy, Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Community Canine (CGCA), Urban CGC (CGCU), Video Home Manners, and Trick Dog evaluations.

This milestone is especially meaningful because Xylose Ranch was inspired by Xylose, a dog who was once overlooked and misunderstood. His journey showed me the importance of patience, training, and giving dogs the opportunity to succeed. That same philosophy continues to guide everything we do today.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Xylose Ranch, trusted us with your dogs, referred friends and family, and followed our journey. Your support has helped make this possible.

I look forward to helping more dogs and handlers reach their goals and earn their AKC titles in the years ahead.
