Our bodies are basically stuck in perpetual summer, and that mismatch might be affecting you more than you’d think.
The perfect example of wanting eternal summer no matter what it does to your body? Olaf. That cute little snowman we all love, dreaming about sunshine even though it would literally melt him haha. Just like him, we need to embrace the cold months too, the falling leaves, the shorter days, all of it.
Summer comes with a lot of light, a lot of fruit, and a lot of energy, and most people thrive in it. But once fall rolls around, our habits need to shift too.
We’re not really built to stay in “summer mode” all year.
Living more in step with the seasons can make a real difference, both in your body and your mental health. A couple small things that help: eating with the sun, so breakfast after sunrise and dinner before sunset, and swapping out bright white lights at home for dim, amber, or red ones once it gets dark. Think campfire, not daylight.
Our bodies are still wired for these rhythms, even if modern life mostly ignores them. Small shifts like these are one way to work with your body through the transition instead of against it.
Comment “seasonal” and we’ll send you the profile for a seasonal food service worth checking out.
Living with a rare or chronic condition means becoming a walking encyclopedia of symptoms nobody can explain.
At some point all you can do is laugh about it.
Tag someone who’d answer this exact same way 😂

Looking fine and feeling fine aren't the same thing.
A lot of people can hide behind normal labs and a small frame for years while their body struggles under the surface.
Hormones can be a mess, digestion can be off, your skin can be breaking out, and still, nobody asks a single question because everything looks okay from their perspective.
Eventually, your body finds a way to speak up.
This isn't about a number, it's about whether what you're eating is actually giving your body what it needs to function.
Are you feeding yourself food that nourishes you, or just whatever's convenient right now? Tell us below 👇

This is what peace looks like here.
We’re so excited to be welcoming 12 women in just a few days, and can’t wait for them to experience this for themselves.

Bitterness isn’t a character flaw. It’s usually just a sign your eyes have been stuck on the same painful thing for a long time.
If there’s something you don’t have, something you’re still mourning, that’s real and it deserves that time to feel it, but you don’t have to stay there forever.
Slowly, you can start noticing what’s still yours. The freedom. The small luxuries. The things you might be overlooking because your gaze has been somewhere else.
What’s something you’ve been fixated on? What would it look like to shift your focus toward gratitude instead?
Two foods Christina eats that some people find weird, and her body loves them.
Organ meat🥩: in a lot of other countries it’s just regular food, she uses an organ blend, and it’s packed with good stuff.
Sardines 🐟: which are also full of nutrients her body seems to love. Cardin is not a fan of those, haha.
What’s a food you eat that gets a funny look from the people around you? 👀
You never really know what a journey is going to give you. Anna said she wanted to see wildlife, she did not expect the wildlife to show up quite this fast, or this close. That’s kind of the magic of these trips though. You plan for rest, for connection, for a change of scenery... and then life throws in a bear just to keep things interesting. 🐻😂
Another one of our summer journeys, and this one wraps up our summer season. Anna got to visit Maine + Vermont and a few other gorgeous spots along the way, soaking up everything summer had left to give.
She even had a wild encounter while she was out there, one we’ll be sharing in the coming days, so stay tuned if you want to see what happened….
There’s a question a lot of us wrestle with. Why does God allow something this hard, this horrible, to happen at all?
There aren’t always clear answers to that, but sometimes, looking back, you start to notice something. One hard moment leads somewhere you never expected, then another hard moment leads somewhere else. Layer after layer, until you can see a thread running through all of it.
That doesn’t mean the hard thing wasn’t hard, it was, terrifying, even, in the moment.
But sometimes the hard, horrible thing is exactly what it takes to get to the good thing that was waiting on the other side.
If you’re in a hard chapter right now and you can’t see where it’s leading, you’re not alone in that. And you don’t have to have it figured out to still hold onto hope that something is being built.
What’s a hard season that ended up leading you somewhere unexpected? We’d love to hear it.

Just think how good life could be, is and will be!
