Executive Vice President Jeff Jacobson stopped by Newcomb Spring of Tennessee to present Josh Shevlin with a letter and gift card for winning our 2026 Battle of the Shirts competition. Employees across the company submitted t-shirt designs to be voted on, and his was dubbed the winner. Congrats again, Josh!

Joey hopped in to join founder Dr. Vince Marcel and the Newcomb Spring of California team for a quality test of their bike seat. Our team has been working on a custom wire form for the product, and Joey was excited to help make sure everything was good to go.

Newcomb Spring of Connecticut welcomed three new apprentices this week, bringing the location's total number of apprentices to four in 2026!

Please join us in welcoming Anthony Cordero in coiling, Travis Parsons in toolmaking, and Nic Gagnon and Collin Martin in CNC wireforming. We're excited to watch them grow their skills, gain hands-on experience, and build rewarding careers in manufacturing.

Joey also tagged along for the trip and enjoyed exploring Denver. From trade show conversations to Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre and downtown Denver, there was plenty to see.
