U.S. Army Recruiting - Altamonte Springs

🔥 YOUR FUTURE STARTS BEFORE GRADUATION! 🇺🇸🎓

Today, we want to give a HUGE thank you to Wekiva High School for allowing our recruiters, SFC Selders and SSG Cantillo, to come into the school and connect with the next generation of leaders!

We had the opportunity to sit down with juniors and seniors and show them that graduation doesn’t have to mean figuring everything out from scratch. The Army can provide a pathway to a real career, education benefits, healthcare, job training, leadership experience, and opportunities to build a strong future—all while serving something bigger than yourself. 💪🇺🇸

🎓 Graduate with a plan.
💼 Start a career, not just a job.
📚 Earn education benefits.
🪖 Build discipline, confidence & leadership.
🚀 Create opportunities for your future.

We’re proud to be in the schools, having real conversations with students and helping them understand what’s possible before they even cross that graduation stage!

Wekiva High School — thank you for having us! We’ll see you again soon! 🔥

🔥 FUTURE SOLDIER TRAINING — ALTAMONTE SPRINGS! 🇺🇸

Today our recruiters and Future Soldiers put in the work! 💪🏽 We started with a 1-mile run, followed by 3 sets of 15 of:

🏃🏽 1-Mile Run
💪🏽 T-Push-Ups
🧱 Planks
🦵🏽 Air Squats

Here at Altamonte Springs, we’re not just preparing Future Soldiers to ship—we’re preparing them to succeed. Every workout is an opportunity to build discipline, confidence, teamwork, and mental toughness.

We push every one of our Future Soldiers to become the best version of themselves, because the work you put in BEFORE you ship sets the tone for what you’ll accomplish AFTER you arrive.

Keep showing up. Keep pushing. Keep getting better. Your Army journey starts before you ever step on the bus! 🇺🇸🔥

Today, our Future Soldiers stepped outside their comfort zone and got a firsthand look at how the Marines train by taking on the Marine Corps Combat Fitness Test (CFT)—and what an experience it was!
The intensity was high, the energy was unmatched, and every single person gave it everything they had. Watching our Future Soldiers and the Future Marines train side by side proved something bigger than any branch rivalry: when it comes to serving this nation, we are all brothers and sisters in arms.
Today’s training was a reminder that while we may wear different uniforms, we all share the same commitment to defending our country. The teamwork, motivation, and encouragement shown by everyone on the field reflected what military service is truly about—family, discipline, and pushing one another to be better.
A huge thank you to the Altamonte Springs Marine Corps recruiting team, especially Gunnery Sergeant, for welcoming us and giving our Future Soldiers the opportunity to experience the Marine Corps Combat Fitness Test. We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to Sergeant Major Ingram for taking the time to be with us. It was an honor to have your presence, leadership, and encouragement throughout the training.
Iron sharpens iron, and today everyone walked away stronger than they arrived. Army. Marines. One mission. One team. 🇺🇸💪

Today is more than just a ship day… it’s the beginning of a dream becoming reality.
Please join me in congratulating Future Soldier Jouvensky Petitt-Homme as he officially ships out to Basic Combat Training! 🇺🇸🔥
Not too long ago, Jouvensky was walking the halls as a high school senior, preparing to graduate and wondering what the future would hold. He made a decision that would change the trajectory of his life forever. He chose service. He chose discipline. He chose purpose.
Today, he leaves as a Future Soldier and begins his journey toward earning one of the most respected titles in the world: United States Soldier.
But that’s not all…
As a green card holder, Jouvensky is also on the path to achieving something many only dream of—earning his United States citizenship through honorable service to the country he proudly chose to defend.
Now THAT is a flex. 💪🏾🇺🇸
While many people his age are still trying to figure out their next step after graduation, Jouvensky already has his future in motion. He’s securing a career, lifelong benefits, leadership experience, educational opportunities, healthcare, financial stability, and the chance to become part of something bigger than himself.
Jouvensky, thank you for trusting me to be a part of your journey. Watching you grow from a high school senior into a Future Soldier, and now seeing you take this next step, has been an absolute honor. The road ahead won’t always be easy, but I have no doubt that you have everything it takes to succeed.
The next time we see you, you’ll have earned the title of Soldier and will be one step closer to standing proudly as a citizen of the United States of America.
Go chase greatness. Make your family proud. Make your community proud. Most importantly, make yourself proud.
We’ll be cheering you on every step of the way.
See you on the other side, Soldier. 🇺🇸🫡 Marcus(the largest)Selders Jr

Yesterday, my 4 Future Soldiers accomplished one of the biggest milestones of their lives… they walked across that stage and officially became high school graduates. 🎓🇺🇸
But what makes their story even more special is the fact that they secured their FUTURES before even receiving their diplomas. While many graduates are still trying to figure out what comes next in life… these young men and women already know.
They chose careers.
They chose stability.
They chose purpose.
They chose a future bigger than themselves.
These aren’t just jobs — these are REAL careers that can lead to six-figure opportunities outside of the Army. Benefits that many people spend years trying to obtain are already waiting for them.
There are people right now worried about how they’ll pay for college… but THEIR education will be paid for.
There are people right now without medical or dental insurance… but THEY will have it.
There are people uncertain about life after graduation… but THEY made a decision that already put them ahead.
That’s powerful.
I couldn’t be more proud of every single one of you. Thank you for trusting me and allowing me to be part of this journey. Watching you all grow from students into Future Soldiers with direction, goals, and careers already lined up has been nothing short of amazing.
To every senior still unsure about what’s next after high school — let me help make that decision easier for you. You do not have to go through life lost or uncertain. DM me and let’s talk about how you can secure your future TODAY in the greatest branch in the world. 🇺🇸
Your future doesn’t start years from now… it starts with one decision. From-

🎓🇺🇸 HUGE congratulations to Miss Rebecca Oliver on graduating high school and walking across that stage into her next chapter of greatness!

Not only did Rebecca achieve an incredible milestone today, but she’s already ahead of the game with a career secured in the United States Army as a 68T — Animal Care Specialist! 🐾🔥

While many graduates are still trying to figure out what comes next after high school… Rebecca already KNOWS her path. As a 68T, she’ll gain hands-on medical experience working with military animals, veterinary care skills, leadership training, career stability, college benefits, healthcare, travel opportunities, and experience that will set her apart both in and out of the Army. That’s a MAJOR flex right out of high school! 💪🏽

Rebecca, we are beyond proud of you and everything you’ve accomplished already. Your hard work, dedication, and drive are opening doors to an amazing future, and we can’t wait to watch you grow, succeed, and make your mark in the Army!

Everyone help us congratulate Miss Rebecca Oliver on this huge achievement! 👏🏽🎉

Big shoutout to our Future Soldiers Krystal Ruiz and Jesus Perez as they ship off to Basic Training! 🇺🇸🔥
