A message from Pastor Jamie:
What does it look like to live a life that is deeply rooted in Christ?

This Sunday, we continue our Rooted: A Study in Colossians series with Colossians 2:6–15. Paul encourages the Colossians that just as they received Christ Jesus as Lord, they are to continue walking in him—“rooted and built up in him and established in the faith.”

Following Jesus is not simply about beginning well; it is about continuing to grow deeper roots in Christ. In this passage, Paul reminds us that the fullness of life is found in Christ, and that our identity and hope are grounded in what he has already accomplished for us.

Join us this Sunday at CrossPointe as we worship together and explore what it means to keep walking with Christ, growing deeper roots, and becoming increasingly grounded in him.

And don’t forget to check out all the resources to help us move from rootless to rooted, as we seek to practice Scripture meditation together.

Lastly, here are a few important dates in the life of CP to have on your calendar…

A message from Pastor Jamie:
What does it mean to be rooted in Christ?

This Sunday, we continue our series, Rooted: A Study in Colossians, by looking at Colossians 1:21–23. Paul reminds us of the distance that once existed between us and God, and then points us to the good news of what Christ has accomplished—reconciling us to God and bringing us into his presence.

To be rooted in Christ is to live from the reality that we have been reconciled to God through Jesus. This Sunday, we’ll consider what it means to remain grounded in that hope and to continue in the faith, firmly established and steadfast in the gospel we have received. We hope you’ll join us!

And don’t forget to check out all the resources to help us move from rootless to rooted, as we seek to practice Scripture meditation together.

A message from Pastor Jamie:
What does it mean to be rooted?

As we continue our series Rooted: A Study in Colossians, we turn this Sunday to one of the most beautiful and profound passages about Jesus in the New Testament: Colossians 1:15–20. Paul gives us a breathtaking picture of Christ—revealing who he is, his place in creation, and his supremacy over all things. Jesus is not simply one part of our lives; he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

In a world filled with competing voices, priorities, and things vying for our attention, Colossians calls us to re-center our lives on Christ. To be rooted is ultimately to have our lives firmly grounded in the One who holds all things together. Join us this Sunday as we consider the greatness of Jesus and what it means for Christ to be preeminent in our lives.

And don’t forget to check out all the resources to help us move from rootless to rooted, as we seek to practice Scripture meditation together.

A message from Pastor Jamie:
This Sunday, we begin a new sermon series, Rooted: A Study of Colossians. In a world that can leave us feeling pulled in a hundred different directions, Colossians calls us back to the place where true stability is found: Jesus. As we begin in Colossians 1:1–14, we’ll see how the gospel takes root in our lives, produces fruit, and reshapes the way we live.

This Sunday will also be a special combined service with Altamonte Chapel. Come early and join us under the pavilion beginning at 10:00 AM for donuts and coffee, then worship with us as we begin this new journey together. We hope you’ll join us as we seek to become a people who are not simply planted in a place, but deeply rooted in Christ.

A message from Pastor Jamie:

Every tree tells a story about what’s happening beneath the surface. The deeper and healthier the roots, the better equipped the tree is to withstand drought, weather the storms, and bear fruit in its season. In Psalm 1, Scripture gives us a picture of a life like that—a tree planted by streams of water, nourished by something deeper than what can be seen.

This Sunday, as we continue Threshold: Moving from Rootless to Rooted, we’ll introduce our spiritual practice for the year: meditating on Scripture—a practice that can put down deep roots in our lives. What happens when we move beyond simply reading God’s Word and learn to slow down, dwell on it, delight in it, and allow it to shape us from the inside out? Join us as we consider what it means to become people who are deeply rooted in God’s Word and able to bear fruit in every season.

A message from Pastor Jamie:
This Sunday, we begin Threshold, a two-week vision series for CrossPointe. As we step into a new season together, we’ll pause to consider where we’ve been, where God may be leading us, and what it means to faithfully step across the threshold into what’s next. We’ll begin with Jeremiah 17:5–8, a passage that invites us to consider what—and who—we are placing our trust in.

And this Sunday is also our Fall Kickoff!

After worship, stick around for a Group Connect to help you find a community group or Bible study, a churchwide potluck, and new CrossPointe T-shirts to give away. Come worship, connect, eat, and celebrate the beginning of a new season together!
