This was a dream project for us at Village. We drove the 15 hour trek out to Gunnison, Colorado with all the gear and crewed for & .frew . It was a lot of fun and a privilege to elevate a project from two filmmakers who have made a little look like a lot in the past.

This time they were able to shoot with our Alexa Mini and S4 Minis on a Video 18.

Along with having Smart 7 Monitors, Bolt 6, and a follow focus system.

We also brought out .lighting 1200D, two 600Cs, a 6x6 kit, stands and a Power Plus 1000 to power the lights anywhere.

Their creativity is what made this piece great but the gear definitely helps.It takes a Village.

COOKE S4i Mini Set is AVAILABLE NOW on our website. These are the affordable, smaller, lighter versions of the Cooke S4s which have shot so many influential films over the last 25 years. The Minis are T2.8 instead of T2 but still give that signature ‘Cooke Look’ beloved by so many directors and DPs. Especially when paired with 35mm Film.
