To motivate one another to provide for children in need through acts of love & good works.
The goal of Collective Kindness is to rally the community around underprivileged or in crisis school-aged children who lack access to proper school attire by collecting donations for each child’s specific clothing need. Providing a week's worth of brand new school clothes and sharing the love of Jesus to these children is a crucial initiative that can have a profound impact on their lives. We as a community can enhance their educational experience, boost their self-esteem, and foster a sense of belonging by this act of kindness. In order to address any immediate needs, we will be accepting donations throughout the year so that we are prepared to meet their needs as they arise.

Today I’m delivering back-to-school clothes to students throughout the Alvin ISD school district. ❤️ There’s something special about knowing that a simple bag of new clothes can help a student walk into a new school year feeling a little more confident, prepared, and excited for what’s ahead.
Jesus loves you. You are seen. You are valued. And you are loved.

This Saturday! Our church is having a garage sale but everything will be free! Clothes, shoes, toys, household items and more!!! If you’re in need come check it out and see if we have what you are looking for!

August 1st - Back to School Bash help our community be ready for the new school year, with new cloths and shoes.
August 8th - The Great Giveaway Market Is OLC's annual free garage sale.

👕 Help Us Fill Closets & Change Lives 💙
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, Collective Kindness is asking our community to help ensure that every child starts school feeling confident and ready to learn.
We work alongside school counselors and principals to provide a week's worth of clothing to students who are experiencing the greatest need.
We're collecting new or like-new (very gently used) clothing in sizes 4T through Adult that is appropriate for school.
As you're cleaning out your closets, please consider donating clothing you or your children have outgrown. If you're out shopping, picking up a few extra basics can make a lasting impact on a child in our community.

What may seem small can mean everything. Clothes and shoes for an elementary student average about $415 a year! That’s roughly $11-12 per week. Providing these basics helps children show up ready to learn. We give because “Whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for me.”

More than half of the students in Alvin ISD are economically disadvantaged, meaning their families qualify for free or reduced-price lunch due to low income. That often means choosing between basic needs like food and clothing—and school supplies. Our nonprofit exists to make sure every child has clean, comfortable clothes so they can feel confident and ready to learn. 👕📚✨
