One Living Church

What does it mean to truly fear God? Not to be scared of Him, but to be so in awe of His presence that you never want to be without it. That is holy awe, and it is available for every one of us.

This week's message walked us through the life of Joseph, a man who overcame pit, prison, and palace because he lived with a healthy fear of the Lord. No Bible, no church, no Holy Spirit dwelling within him yet, and still he ran to holiness every single time. The fear of the Lord brought him wisdom, built boundaries in his life, and led him through every valley until God won the battle.

The same is available for you. As Proverbs 9:10 reminds us, wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord. Stop fighting your battles alone. Run to holiness. Let God read you through His Word. Your life will never be the same.
