September 25, 2026....FB asked what is on my mind....Rain, local shopping, roasts, stew meat, September Box, October is almost here.....

1. Rain always changes our mood, Fall is almost here and September is almost over....I was thinking about local shopping and I wanted to remind you about our Wolflin location. It's a great neighborhood, 1948 Civic Circle, convenient in and out call our Wolflin store at 806-699-1041....Come see us!!

2. Trammell Cattle beef has fall specials....
Roast $ 10 lb. ( chuck, arm, and rump ) just think about that mouth watering tender and juicy crockpot put together, and great leftovers....

Stew Meat $ 10 lb. Enjoy that slow cooked bowl of stew and cornbread with all the fixins.....

September 17, 2026.....A couple of celebrations.....First, I don't see any 3 digit temperatures in the forecast ( I haven't heard anyone say they are going to miss those ).....
Second....It's time for a grand opening at our Wolflin Store, we are excited to be in the neighborhood....

This Saturday from 11 to 2, live music and free food, it's always a great time meeting and visiting....

September 11, 2026....Remembering 25 years ago today, do you remember where you were when you heard the news.
I was at the Amarillo Livestock Auction walking out of the café and they had the TV on and I couldn't believe what was happening.
This is a strong nation with lots of great folks and lots of tough people helped build it.

It makes me think of our food supply. Let's all build a strong local food supply, supporting local people and families.

At Ranchers Storefront, we are not corporate, or a big box store. We strive to focus on local.....

Check out the September Box, its got 3 cuts that are popular, Ground Beef, trim from steaks, roast, etc, always dry-aged, a chuck roast ( I've even cooked it on the grill, tender, tender), and two sirloin steaks, juicy and tender...

September 9, 2026.... There is so much in the news everyday about food, recalls, beef imports, what to eat and what not to eat......there is such a disconnect between the government and the consumer...

The older I get, the more simple my eating habits get. Give me something with good flavor and that will be enjoyable and good for me and that's all I need.

We at Ranchers Storefront still concentrate on real food. Real beef, no additives, dry-aged, safe, USA born and raised, plus our vendors are focusing on real food also.

Let's all focus on a strong local food supply. It's been a difficult growing season for our vegetable producers but we will have some local squash, zucchini, and cucumbers this week.

August 28, 2026.... We finally have our store at Wolflin open, thanks to the Mays Group and Austin for the great location..

The address is 1948 Civic Circle, right next to Ross Boots.... the hours are Monday thru Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
We have a soft opening Saturday the 29th, and we will have a grand opening when we get it scheduled, remember how those go with free food and live music...

To celebrate getting through the permitting, let's have Trammell Cattle brisket at $10 lb. , I like to give the brisket speech....you don't have a bag with water in it, we have trimmed excess fat, it is ready to season and cook....let the smoker do the work while you sit in the shade....

I want to thank our vendors for their exceptional products, vegetables are still coming even with the heat....

Not only that, but it is traceable, U.S.A. born and raised, dry-aged for tenderness and flavor, and locally processed by professionals.....
