This section takes us along a narrow finger on the north side of Burnt Draw with some pretty good exposure. Down below you can see the old cedar grove, the cave, and Greg’s Arrow.
We got to go on a hike with our adult daughter this past week. The hike is one that we first did as a family over 20 years ago. It ended up being one of our favorites; we call it the Sorenson's Peak - Burnt Draw loop. It's not an official trail but full of cool features: bouldering, cliffs, slot canyon, old cedar grove, a good cave with bats, and an Indian pictograph. Soon we'll start taking our grandkids on this hike as they are getting to the age that our kids were when we first hiked it. Full hiking video coming soon.

The deepest keeper hole in Palo Duro Canyon. Back in 2014, before the majority of our state park got officially shutdown, we found this hidden feature far away from any trail in the back country. In fact, we almost walked past where this hole was hiding. I've only been here once and would like to see it again someday. Hopefully we see our park fully opened back up.
