PILC is a Center for Independent Living, one of 27 centers in Texas and 500 across the nation. Centers for Independent Living promote the Independent Living philosophy, which states that people with disabilities have the right to make their own choices for their lives and to live independently in their community, not in an institution. We help people with disabilities achieve their independent living goals through peer support, independent living skills development and education.

π΅οΈββοΈπ΅οΈββοΈ YES Camp β Day 4: MISSION: imPOSSIBLE! π΅οΈββοΈπ΅οΈββοΈ
Our young secret agents continued their training on Day 4 by strengthening one of the most important spy skillsβcommunication! Today's mission focused on sharpening communication skills by observing eye contact and body language while practicing active listening. These valuable lessons help build confidence, teamwork, and strong interpersonal skills. ππ£οΈπ
Campers also unleashed their creativity by designing their own Lightbulb Spy Agent and Spy Gear Pouch during Arts & Crafts. π‘π¨π΅οΈ
The fun didn't stop there! Memory games challenged our agents to think quickly, stay focused, and sharpen their recall skillsβall while having a blast with each other.
Each day brings new adventures, new skills, and new memories as our agents work together to complete their MISSION: imPOSSIBLE! We can't wait to see what tomorrow's final mission has in store!

Day 3 of YES Camp challenged our young agents to sharpen their spy skills! Today's mission focused on observation skills, counting, matching, project management, and dexterityβimportant tools for every successful secret agent. ππ§©
Campers put their creativity to work during our Spy Jar Arts & Crafts activity, designing unique projects while practicing attention to detail and following directions. π¨π«
The fun continued with exciting games, teamwork activities, and plenty of opportunities to learn. From solving challenges to building confidence, our agents are proving they have what it takes to complete their MISSION: imPOSSIBLE!

Our young agents were hard at work today as they continued their MISSION: imPOSSIBLE adventure! Campers learned valuable Spy Time Management skills and reviewed Spy Communications techniques to help them stay on mission.
The excitement continued as agents decoded invisible messages, putting their detective skills to the test! π―π
Creativity was on full display during Arts & Crafts, and everyone stayed active with a fun-filled game of Musical Hoops. π¨πΆπ
From solving mysteries to making memories, Day 2 was packed with learning, laughter, and teamwork. We can't wait to see what tomorrow's mission brings!
