When art, creativity and history intersect, I’m in my happy place. Something fun is coming to the Amarillo Building.
Saddle up...something creative is trotting over to 3rd and Polk!

Join me in praying every Monday for our city ❤️
🎯ONE ACCORD MONDAY, our PRAYER and FASTING focus is Reconciliation - praying that everyone in Amarillo would be reconciled to You through Jesus Christ and reconciled to one another in Your love.
📖"and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross." - Colossians 1:20
🙏Lord, we ask you to fuel this season of prayer and fasting. Gather the intercessors and rise up a mighty force of prayer warriors in unity.
✝️We look with expectancy to see peace and love restored in our midst. AMEN!

This picture! This is what 3rd and Polk looked like in 1889. It was another 26 years before the Amarillo Building would show up at 3rd and Polk.
We love photos like this! 🎥 We’re told this picture was taken back in 1889, just a few weeks after Amarillo’s incorporation. It’s incredible to see how far our city has come, and even more exciting to think about where it’s headed next.
