Building on nine years of impact, this year’s M+K food drive contributed 1,134 lbs. of food and supplies to Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard, Inc., a non-profit located just down the street from M+K. Their mission is simple but powerful: to provide food and basic necessities to individuals and families in need throughout the community.

Our partnership with Mattie Dixon extends beyond the annual food drive. M+K team members have volunteered their time on-site and look forward to supporting initiatives like Backpack Day, helping provide essential supplies to students and families ahead of the school year.

We’re proud to support an organization making a direct, meaningful impact right in our own backyard.

This year marked the 16th edition of Run to Rebuild, and M+K is grateful for the opportunity to once again support the event and its long-standing partnership with Rebuilding Together Philadelphia.

Through RT Philadelphia's network of volunteers and suppliers, every $100 donated helps generate approximately $300 worth of home repairs for families in need.

Run to Rebuild was originally founded in 2008 by Jamie Friling to raise awareness and support for RTP’s mission. Sixteen years later, it continues to serve as a strong community gathering point that blends activity, awareness, and direct impact.

For those who attended, volunteered, or supported from afar, thank you for helping make this year another success.

It was a pleasure to join the project partners and community stakeholders who are helping bring this project to life in Hilton Head, SC. What started with a groundbreaking is becoming something much bigger, a place where lives will unfold, connections will grow, and community will take root.
