Are you aware of the recent change made to the Iowa Voter Registration form?

The Iowa Voter Registration form has been updated to include revised voter eligibility affidavit language and the oath required by recent legislation. The voter registration process itself has NOT changed!

Effective as of July 1st, 2026, county auditors will only accept the NEW Iowa Voter Registration Form with a revision date of 6/17/2026 or later, or earlier versions of the Iowa Registration Form ONLY if they were signed/dated by the voter on or before 6/30/2026.

The updated form can be found on the Iowa Secretary of State official website https://sos.iowa.gov/voters/voter-registration

Happy Independence Day!
Celebrating 250 years of Independence

The Second Continental Congress passed the Resolution for Independence on July 2, 1776. Named the Less Resolution after Virginia delegate Richard Henry Lee, 12 of the 13 colonies present that day in Philadelphia voted in favor of the Resolution. The much more famous Declaration of Independence, signed two days later on July 4, was drafted for King George III and the British Parliament.
