This time ran a full world map on the OMTech Pronto 40. Continents, coastlines, and all those tiny scattered islands, burned into a single piece of wood.
Detail like this is where a CO2 laser engraver earns its keep. Autofocus sets the height so the burn stays even from one edge of the 35" x 24" bed to the other, and the fine coastline work holds up even at speed.
Map art, state plaques, "where we've been" travel boards — same setup, endless variations.
