The wait is over.

The Le Mans-winning Mazda 787B is returning to American soil. And it’s not coming alone. Joining the 787B at Rolex Reunion are some of Mazda’s most celebrated rotary race cars, including the 787, the 767B, the 792P, and the RX-7 GTO.

It’s been through some different owners since it left us, but our original 1990 Racing Beat Miata recently returned for a visit. This vehicle was Jim Mederer’s test bed for dozens of suspension and exhaust performance parts, style bars, fiberglass body parts, and made appearances at countless events. It’s currently being reconditioned and updated, hopefully we’ll see more of it for years to come!
