MOD

What a weekend for the MOD Grand National Championship Series West! Our first time out to AppleBash RC Raceway in Apple Valley California was nothing but a success! We had amazing weather all weekend long, a great crowd of racers just shy of 100 Entries and some great racing at an ever developing surface! We would like to thank Frank and his lovely wife Connie and the entire Applebash community for opening up their facility to us and letting us host a one of a kind 5th and 8th scale event. Their surface is super awesome whether its a sealed surface or a more natural surface it was fun through and through. Thank you to our MOD staff of Brian, Chris, Skinny, Leslie, Carl, Megan and David on the Mic for keeping the program running smooth. Thank you everyone for all the MOD support trackside at our MOD Hobbies mobile shop. Thank you to all the racers that came from far and wide for all their support at each and every race. We have one more this year to wrap it all up at the The Dirt at Perris December 4-6 2026. We can't wait to see everyone at the finals! Much Love - Matt

Excited to see everyone this weekend for our MOD Grand National Event! We wanted to give all of our patrons a heads up that for some odd reason Iphone Maps will send you on a wild goose chase when trying to locate the track. Seemingly Samsung / Android / Google Maps will take you to right location. Apple Bash RC Raceway is located just off the 18 with a small trek on a dirt road but not far, you'll be able to see the driverstand from the main road. Also there is an original Apple Bash Raceway located in a residential area that is not it either. Sorry for any confusion caused but the Track is about 500 feet off of CA-18 and if it looks wrong your probably at the wrong location. Hope this crude graphic helps you guys locate the track if having issues.

Who is excited for the MOD Grand National Championship series this coming weekend at Apple Bashing RC Raceway 9/18-20/26!? We are that's for sure! Featuring both 5th and 8th Scales alike remember Open Practice on Friday at 12pm - Close, Saturday 1/8 Quals / Mains and 1/5 Quals. Sunday 1/5 Mains. We have also been hard at work getting the trophies in order. For the first time we are adding a TQ trophy for all classes. We also will have divisional trophies so Top 3 in each final Main will get trophies as well. We really appreciate everyones support throughout the year and for AppleBash on their accommodation of our venue change so late in the season. This is also Matts first crack as trophy design so don't be too hard on him. If other venues need Trophy plaques for events we design and print in house. Please travel safe this weekend and plenty of room for camping so bring those rigs (there may be a small fee for camping paid directly to AppleBash RC) Enjoy friends and message and call if you need questions answered. 714.612.0418 Address : 12760 Japatul rd, Apple Valley, CA, United States, 92307
