Southeast Alaska was the next stop on our interns' journey! From exploring active operations to learning from experienced team members, they got a closer look at the projects, people, and places that make our work possible. 🛣️ 🚧 ⛰️ 🦺

On July 30, the Aggpro Anchorage Ready-Mix team set a production record, delivering over 1,000 cubic yards of concrete in a single day. With all 13 Aggpro mixer trucks on the road before sunrise, the team supported QAP's Taxiway E&M project at Anchorage International Airport while continuing to serve customers across the region.

This milestone reflects the planning, teamwork, flexibility, and commitment of everyone involved. Congratulations to the Aggpro Anchorage Ready-Mix and QAP teams on an outstanding achievement! 👏

At Secon, we're committed to building more than infrastructure. Through the Secon Community Fund, we were proud to support the Sitka Youth Football League and Juneau Youth Football League, helping create opportunities for young athletes across Southeast Alaska.

Seeing these photos and the connections made between the two programs is a great reminder of the impact that comes from investing in our communities and supporting the next generation.

In Juneau, teams from Secon, QAP, and Emulsion Products Company combined their expertise to deliver quality results. Secon served as the primary contractor and provided mechanical support, QAP operated the chipper, and Emulsion Products Company handled the distributor truck.

Today, we're celebrating the talented interns who are helping shape the future of Colaska. This month, interns from across Alaska came together in Anchorage to learn more about our Southcentral operations, touring projects at the Anchorage airport and Cooper Landing while gaining firsthand insight into the work our teams do every day. They also had the opportunity to connect with fellow interns, build relationships, and experience all that makes Colaska a great place to grow a career.

Yesterday, Colaska was proud to attend the AGC Safety Fair, a community event focused on promoting safety awareness and injury prevention for families of all ages. From interactive exhibits to hands-on learning opportunities, the event brought industry partners and community members together to reinforce the importance of staying safe at work, at home, and in our communities.

Aggpro Prestress in Anchorage is currently producing 105 prestressed concrete girders for the Chena Flood Control Bridge Replacement Project in Fairbanks. At more than 140 feet long and 78 tons each, these girders are part of the largest bridge project in AGGPRO Prestress history. 🚧
