Our Yukon journey came to an end with good memories and profound reflections.
We started off our courses in Eagle Village with a service learning opportunity building a chicken coop, splitting and delivering woods to Elders. The community welcomed us with a delicious potluck: Salmon chowder, fry bread, and salads. We got to listen to the Elders talked about their own experiences and history living in Eagle. What a gift!
We pushed off and enjoyed our days on the Yukon River and continued to expand our knowledge through working together, reading, teaching, and having fun! It was a yet a memorable one! Until next time!

The Yukon is knocking on our door this fall of 2026 again! APU students! If you have not registered for this course for your science credits, we highly recommend you to do so! You will get to experience a once in a lifetime adventure! We can’t emphasize enough that learning by doing is one of the best transformative experiences that we get the privilege of providing it for you! Sign up!

Due to warmer weather and low attendance, we will cancel our open boating 5/28. Spread the words. Open boating will return this fall of 2026. We will keep you posted! Be safe and have fun!

We are open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays from 10 A.M to 6 P.M
Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 A.M to 4 P.M.

We are closed on Tuedays and Fridays from 4 to 6 P.M, Memorial day 5/25, Juneteeth 6/19, and July 4th (closed on July 3rd).

We have open boating tonight 4/30 at Moseley Sports Center 7:30-9. We will not hosting rolling or sea kayak rescue clinics until further notice. They will be most likely be offered in the fall of 2026.
May will be the last month for open boating sessions!

We soft launched our archery program with our APU students! We look forward to adding this as part of our regular recreational activity for our APU community. Stay tuned 🫶!
