Delicious brain break from Little Millers!

“A brain break is a short, intentional pause from cognitive (thinking) work, typically lasting 1 to 5 minutes. Used in classrooms, workplaces, and study sessions, these structured intermissions use movement, mindfulness, or sensory activities to reduce stress, reset focus, and prepare the mind to return to tasks with renewed energy.” 🙌🏼👏🏼

For the July Product of the Month, we want to showcase “Editor in Chief” by The Critical Thinking Co.

Editor in Chief is a grammar guide for grades 2-12. It contains lessons/examples to support the teaching of writing mechanics as well as corresponding stories to identify and edit errors. “Critical thinking, rather than the usual drill and practice, is emphasized.”

Concepts covered include:

* capitalization
* all types of punctuation
* sentence fragments/run-ons
* use of articles
* subject-verb agreement
* and more!

Here we have our SLP Eric working with a client on identification of correct writing mechanics ! ✍️

Congratulations to our winner in the office’s Fidgets and Fun guessing contest! Isaac Yager!!!! He was able to take home a Rubix cube and a few fidgets from the jar!

We are happy to share we are restarting our therapy tool; product of the month!

For June this speech pathology favorite is Chipper Chat! Here at RWA our therapists are able to support phonology, grammar and more with this resource from Super Duper Publications.

Chipper Chat utilizes the fun of a magnetic wand and chips during learning tasks that include key concepts our clients are working on that can effectively assist carryover and review!

Keeping summer fun here at RWA!! Our office staff has created a great interactive “Fidget Fun Guess Fest”. Students will get to guess how many fidgets they think are in the jar!! How fun!
