December marks HIV/AIDS Awareness month, which kicks off with World AIDS Day on December 1 each year. It’s an opportunity for people worldwide to unite to end the HIV epidemic, to show support for people living with HIV and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness. HIV and AIDS-related illnesses impact individuals across identities and experiences.
